School Staff Medical Training for PD Days

School Staff Medical Training for PD Days

Is your school staff prepared to handle the medical needs of your student population? When a child is in a medical crisis, everyone panics. It is overwhelming and quite stressful for everyone. Every situation is different, and you must respond accordingly.

Current and frequent training will prepare the school staff to deal with the unknown. It also gives them an opportunity to share their stories while receiving current strategies and tips.

This 4-hour workshop is provided for all school staff by registered nurses and can be easily scheduled for PD days. It includes training on:

  • Epipen injections
  • Diabetes care
  • Respiratory complications
  • Seizure First Aid

* The training can be customized to specifically address other special issues such as epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, CPR, bloodborne pathogens, etc. We can also do a full assessment of your training needs and help establish policies to ensure you're complying with state and federal legislative requirements.

Talk to a training specialist and schedule your PD day workshop.
