School secretaries are often the unrecognized heartbeat of a school. They are typically the first person you will see when entering the building and the last person you see as you leave. Everyone expects her/him to know just about everything and anything school related.
With the many roles the secretary play, they also have the responsibility of making sure that the students are safe and supported during medical emergencies. With all they have going on, it is imperative that they are equipped with the proper knowledge of how to support a student when they become ill or are in need of medical support.
We know that during the school year it's nearly impossible to take a secretary away from their post. That’s why we're offering a summer basic medical training workshop on June 26th (sold out), July 10th, or August 7th.
The full-day basic medical training workshop will equip school staff with the required skills to adequately and confidently respond to the physical, social, and emotional health needs of students while maintaining state and federal compliance.
The training includes:
This is an exclusive and intimate training for school staff who are responsible for providing medical support to students. They will have a deeper understanding of current standards, legal responsibilities, legislative requirements, and proper procedures for basic medical care (Bonus: Get out of the office on a nice summer day while learning something that can substantially benefit the school and the students!)
Register your secretary to attend today, and we'll send you an email with all of the logistical details. Space is limited.
